Greetings and welcome to my website!  Shelimah Productions, School of Middle Eastern Dance, was formed in 2003.  My policy is to promote dancing that is tasteful and fun, always looking at expanding everyone's awareness of bellydancing as an artful dance form that can be practiced by all ages, and appreciated by everyone for its beauty and integrity.  If you live in the Milton/Halton area, see the classes page for times and availability then contact me at shelimah@gmail.com for more information.

BELLYDANCE NEWS!

• CLASS CARDS: We are now offering 6, 8 or 10 week class cards!  The class card will allow you to take any one hour class during the week at any scheduled class until the card runs out!  See schedule page for details!

• 3rd ANNUAL SHOWCASE, SATURDAY, MAY 31ST - Please join us on the 31st to enjoy an evening of performances by students, teachers and guests of the beautiful Danse Orientale!  The show will start at 7:30 pm at the Seniors' Activity Centre Auditorium, 500 Childs Drive Milton.  Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the studio by appointment  or by contacting shelimah@gmail.com   Cost $15.00 in advance, $20.00 at the door.
• DARK CABARET: A bellydance workshop with Audra Simmons of the Dark Side Studio, Toronto.   SATURDAY, JUNE 14TH, meet and shop, noon - 1:00pm, workshop 1:00 - 4:00.  $75 pp + GST.  Pre-registration is required, deadline for registration is June 7th.
   
  'FINGER CYMBALS AND MOVEMENT'  WORKSHOP
  Tuesday, June 24 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. 
  The fee is $30
  Advance registration is required.

  This would be for all levels of dancers from beginners and beyond!   Benefiting those wanting to learn finger cymbals as well as anyone wanting to strengthen what they already know.  You will learn the basic 'longa' pattern with dance combos added.  Depending on the class, the dance movements will be drills and hip work at various levels.  Notes will be provided, giving you an opportunity to practice throughout the summer months.
